Look back:  Read back over Matthew 17:22-23.  I would encourage you to take time this week to really focus on the necessity and power of Jesus' resurrection this week as you remember that Jesus establishes the kingdom of God by His death and resurrection and that resurrection is the result of discipleship. 

Look ahead: This coming Sunday, Pastor Michael will be preaching from Matthew 17:24-27.  Read over the passage with your family during the week before Sunday.
