Look back: Look back over Psalm 70 and remember God has shamed your enemies and will save you for the sake of his praise.
Look ahead: This coming Sunday, we will be in Hebrews 10:1-4. Read the passage during the week with your family.
Ask: What was insufficient about the sacrificial system and what is the proof of that?
Pray: Praise God that the sacrifice of Jesus accomplished what the law and animal sacrifices could not do; namely, making perfect those who draw near to God through him.

- Older Preschool: Solomon asked God for wisdom to know right and wrong. Jesus had perfect wisdom, and He never did anything wrong. Jesus is the best King. He lived a perfect life to rescue sinners by dying on the cross and rising again.
- Kids: God gave Solomon wisdom to lead His people. Jesus is wisdom, and He leads those who trust in Him to eternal life. When we follow Jesus, we become wise.
