Look back:  Read back over Philippians 4:8-9 and remember believers are to think Godly thoughts and do Godly things.

Look ahead: This coming Sunday, Pastor Michael will be preaching from Philippians 4:10-23. Read the passage several times during the week with your family.

Ask: What is the context for Paul saying "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and how does that help us think about contentment? What "fruit" did Paul desire and thank God for in the lives of the Philippians?

Sing: Visit the blog for this week's music. Listen to this as a family! Spend some time listening to the super kid-friendly "Jesus, Strong and Kind" and "Afflicted Saint to Christ Draw Near" as you reflect on being content even in the midst of suffering. You can also find our music playlists on Spotify.
