Have you ever wondered what happened during the four hundred silent years between the Old and New Testaments? Do you want to know how and why the authors of the gospels ordered their material differently? Pastor Pat will be teaching the Intertestamental Period through the Gospels to answer these and many more questions. In this study, you will “build a framework for understanding and interpreting the New Testament, gain an understanding of the biblical background needed for a lifetime of meaningful study of God’s Word, and respond to God as He speaks to you through His Word.”






There has been much discussion and writing in recent years on the Gospel. What is the Gospel? What is the role of the Gospel in the life of a believer? Ben is going to address these questions as he explores the power of the Gospel both for salvation and sanctification. “The Gospel for real life will help you experience freedom from the grip of sin and know the joy of pursuing holiness, revel in God’s acceptance of you and participate in His grace as a daily reality, and expose the subtle acids of legalism in your life and enjoy the liberty of the cross.”





The life of a disciple should be marked by an integration of faith and life. We must be on guard against compartmentalizing our lives and see the role of faith built on reason integrated in our lives at work, family, church, and community. Moreland writes, “To be sure, Christians must rely on the Holy Spirit in their intellectual pursuits, but this does not mean they should expend no mental sweat of their own in defending the faith.” Dr. Brooks is going to help you expend the necessary mental sweat in order to love God with all your mind and see your faith and life integrated into a God-glorify act of worship.
